What's the difference between meditation and yoga?

Meditation and yoga are both practices that originated in ancient India and have been used for centuries to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. However, they are distinct practices with different goals and methods.

Meditation is a practice that involves focusing the mind on a specific object, thought, or activity to improve mental clarity and reduce stress and anxiety. It is typically done while sitting or lying down in a comfortable position and can be practiced by anyone regardless of physical ability.

Yoga, on the other hand, is a physical practice that involves a series of postures and movements designed to improve flexibility, strength, and balance.

It also incorporates breathing exercises and meditation techniques to promote relaxation and inner peace. Yoga is usually practiced in a class setting, but also can be done individually.
